**Optional Formal Report: It's important to note that regardless of whether you opt for a
full or summarized report, the testing duration remains consistent. The difference lies
in the level of detail provided in the final report.
**Optional Treatment Planning
This evaluation is conducted over a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform and lasts approximately 2 hours and includes:
Required Clinical Interview with Dr. Moreland (60 minutes), covers:
a. Evaluee’s developmental history, medical, and mental health histories, current symptoms, and functional impairments.
b. A diagnostic assessment, suicide and violence risk assessment, and evaluation of the factors leading to the referral. During this interview, Dr. Moreland will assess the evaluee’s symptoms, the course of their problems, and related impairment.
Depression: This includes major depressive disorder, persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia), and other types of depression. The evaluation can help determine the severity of the depression and guide treatment strategies.
Anxiety Disorders: This encompasses generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, specific phobias, and others. Psychological evaluations can help identify triggers and effective coping mechanisms.
Bipolar Disorder: This disorder is characterized by periods of extreme mood swings, from manic highs to depressive lows. An evaluation can help distinguish it from other mood disorders.
Schizophrenia and Other Psychotic Disorders: These disorders cause detachment from reality, often in the form of hallucinations, delusions, or disorganized thinking. Evaluations can help in diagnosing these conditions and determining their severity.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD): OCD is characterized by repetitive, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and irrational, excessive urges to do certain actions (compulsions). An evaluation can help identify the obsessions and compulsions that are interfering with a person’s life.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): PTSD is a condition that can occur following the experience of a traumatic event. A psychological evaluation can assess symptoms and help in devising a treatment plan.
Eating Disorders: This includes disorders like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. Psychological evaluations can help understand the thought patterns contributing to these behaviors.
Personality Disorders: These involve long-term, maladaptive patterns of behavior, including borderline personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder, and narcissistic personality disorder. Evaluations can help identify these patterns and suggest ways to manage them.
