GENERAL EVALUATIONS
Thank you for considering Dr. Moreland, to assist you with your evaluation. She offers both remote and limited in-person evaluations, tailored to meet the unique needs of each case. Whether you need an evaluation for focused question (e.g., ADHD or Autism), or a more comprehensive evaluation, Dr. Moreland can assist.
General Information
Dr. Moreland provides legal and court-related evaluations for clients all ages of life (generally aged 7+).
While the majority of evaluations are conducted remotely through Telehealth, Dr. Moreland offers limited in-person evaluations in Washington (WA), Colorado (CO), and Texas (TX) for clients whose cases require it. If you’re unsure whether remote or in-person testing is most appropriate for your evaluation, feel free to contact us or fill out our information form above..
Dr. Moreland is currently able to schedule new clients within 2-3 weeks. The full evaluation process, including report generation, typically takes 3-4 weeks. However, more complex cases may take longer to complete. Timelines are subject to change.
Insurance: Dr. Moreland is in-network with Aetna, Carelon and Cigna for Colorado, Texas, and Washington. She is also in network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in Colorado. Please visit our insurance page above to find more about which plans she is able to accept.
Private Pay: Evaluations can range from $500 to $4000 depending on the complexity of the evaluation and questions needing to be answered. See below for insurance, financing, and sliding scale options. To get an estimate scroll to the top of this page and fill out our estimate form.

- Best for: Answering one specific diagnostic question (e.g., ADHD, Autism)
COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATIONS:

EVALUATION PROCESS
Completion of Intake and Onboarding Paperwork: The first step in the evaluation process is completing the Intake and all required intake paperwork. This includes providing personal information, relevant history, and details about the case. The paperwork helps establish a clear understanding of the evaluee's background and the reason for the evaluation.
These forms are required before any assessments or interviews can begin.
1. Intake Form: To provide background information and relevant history.
2. Consent Forms: To authorize the evaluation and data collection.
3. Release of Information Forms:
- For obtaining your medical and psychiatric/mental health records.
- For identifying a collateral contact (e.g., spouse, parent, or family member) who can provide information regarding your strengths and weaknesses.
Invoice & Payment: Once onboarding is completed you will receive an invoice for the evaluation fee. Once payment is completed, we will proceed with the evaluation process.
Booking Appointment: Once all required records and collateral information are received, we will schedule your evaluation appointment.
Standardized Questionnaires: To be completed by the evaluee and the collateral contact (if a release has been completed).
Evaluation Appointment: The appointment will last 90-180 minutes and will consist of a clinical interview and any necessary standardized testing.
Report: At the conclusion of the Evaluation, typically within 10-14 business days, Dr. Moreland will release the evaluation report which compiles all the information gathered during the evaluation process.
